KLM airlines have taken one of their grounded jets, a McDonnel Douglas MD-11, and turned it into a two-bedroom apartment.
They weren’t as creative with the name though as it has just been called the Airplane Apartment and it offers up to four people a stay in a hotel room that is rather unique.
During its lifetime the airplane had more than 3, 675 flights and it has now been situated close to the Schiphol airport over in Amsterdam, after having an extensive make-over. The interior of the McDonnel Douglas MD-11 has been changed into a 366 sqm vintage apartment.
